IOFS held its 11th Executive Board meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan where representatives from member states discussed the organization's work in 2022 and preparations for the 6th General Assembly in Doha, Qatar.

The Islamic Organization for Food Security's 6th General Assembly in Doha, Qatar, united over 40 member states. This high-level meeting emphasized the organization's dedication to tackling global food security challenges and agricultural advancements.

This collaboration aims to improve sustainable agriculture, rural development, and food security by focusing on areas like biotechnology, food reserves, and Islamic finance for agribusiness. The partnership targets poverty reduction, environmental challenges, and supporting agricultural development.
