IFPA identifies the Prioritized
OIC Food and Agri Sectors
A comprehensive food security strategy was developed, selecting from the 23 food-related codes of the World Customs Organization’s Harmonized System (HS) codes. This strategy was based on OIC exports and imports, aiming to determine the value chain by prioritizing sectors such as agricultural inputs, primary processed, and secondary processed sectors. Clustering analysis was conducted, focusing on the largest primary or secondary processing sector within the value chain to create clusters.
